About Pei-Hsuan

Hi, I’m
Pei-Hsuan.

Two cultures. A shared understanding.

I’m a marriage and family therapist licensed in Massachusetts and Texas. For fourteen years, I’ve worked with couples in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese, many carrying two cultures into one marriage.

I grew up in Taiwan and have lived in the United States for most of my adult life. I know what it is to hold two languages and two sets of expectations, and how easily they can meet or collide in a relationship.

My work is grounded in compassion, respect, curiosity, and collaboration. I support individuals, couples, and families in exploring the lives and relationships they hope for, making room for new possibilities and light, even in difficult times.

How I work

The problem is rarely one person.

I work relationally. I'm not neutral about your marriage, I'm for it, but I don't take sides within it.

My Christian faith shapes how I carry myself and how I sit with people. It is not a therapy model, and I don't use faith-based or biblical counseling approaches. If faith matters to you, it's welcome in the room. If it doesn't, you are just as welcome.

In our work together, we make space for each of you to be heard, and for the relationship you want to build.

Tell me a little about what's going on and which language you'd rather use. Openings come up slowly; I'll tell you honestly where things stand.
